Sunday Mass attendance and religious instruction are prerequisites for reception of the Sacrament.
Baptized teenagers are eligible for Confirmation beginning in 8th grade. However, students must attend religious education classes at our parish in 7th & 8th grade in order to begin preparation for the sacrament in 8th grade.
Confirmation classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 am - 10:15 am Please see the Religious Education page for the current schedule.
In addition to classes each week and the work that may be assigned, students are required to participate in Service Hours to the parish and surrounding community, attend a weekend-long retreat, and attend a Mass each weekend and Holy Day of obligation.
The Confirmation date is set in conjunction with the Diocese and may occur in either the Fall or Spring. The preparation schedule is adjusted to meet Diocesan requirements.
